Gay Lynn Wheeler is a 5th generation Texan raised in Monahans in West Texas and she has lived in the Highland Lakes area for over 20 years. She has been active in her Central Texas community as the past Director of the Kingsland Chamber of Commerce, the past chair of the 4th of July Aqua Boom festivities in Kingsland for 6 years, and she has owned and operated a furniture store in Kingsland for 15 years.
It’s all about family and business with Gay Lynn. She follows in the footsteps of her father who was a Texas real estate broker for 47 years, her mother who was a Texas real estate agent and is a long time resident of Kingsland, and her brother who is a Texas real estate broker and a Certified Property Manager.
Gay Lynn studied music at Texas Tech and Texas Women’s University and she has taught piano and voice lessons for over 30 years and continues to do so. She also works part-time as an accompanist and vocal coach for St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Along with music, she is a member of the Community Services Committee of the Highland Lakes Board of Realtors.
Gay Lynn worked in the banking and mortgage financing business in Texas for 12 years, in oilfield sales, and in art design and sales. Gay Lynn is a member of the Horseshoe Bay Business Alliance and she has enjoyed being a resident of Horseshoe Bay for the past three years. Gay Lynn is excited to be part of the Horseshoe Bay Resort Realty Team and she looks forward every day to the opportunity to help people find their little piece of heaven in Horseshoe Bay and the Highland Lakes area.
