Mitchell is a veteran community developer with over 30-years experience in the real estate development business and political leadership in Texas. In his role as Vice Chairman, Mitchell is responsible for ensuring Horseshoe Bay Resort and Resort Realty’s developments are in compliance with local laws and regulations. Mitchell works closely with developers and builders through the entitlement, planning, design, and zoning process.
Mitchell has been with Horseshoe Bay Resort since its inception in 1974 and previously held positions as President and COO , General Manager, and Director of Marketing/Membership & Sales.
Mitchell earned his BS at Texas State University and attended graduate business courses at the University of Texas. Active in a large number of community and industrial organizations as a Board Member, Director, Officer or volunteer, Mitchell has received recognition and awards from several chambers of commerce, service, educational and government organizations.

Mike received an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and earned his Master's degree from Florida State University. Mike serves as the Director of Horseshoe Bay Resort Realty and is the Broker of Record.
He has been a Horseshoe Bay Resort Member and a licensed Real Estate Broker and Realtor since 1981. He says it is a distinct pleasure to provide professional real estate services to guests staying at Horseshoe Bay Resort, as well as to represent our honored Horseshoe Bay Resort property owners.

Being a local native of the Hill Country and having a father that is a successful general contractor, I discovered my interest in the building industry at an early age. I was intrigued not only by the construction techniques and planning that went into a project, but also the finished product and the personal touches that made each project unique and personal.
While in college, I directed my training toward the real estate market by taking as many courses as possible that were relevant. I worked side by side with a Texas Realtor while attending school to expand my understanding of the principals of the business and also the qualities that made for a successful representative for both the company and the client.
Since college, I have been Marketing Director for Sigma Mortgage Group, which helped me fully understand the lending process, and an Administrative Assistant for Hunter-Kelsey of Texas, property tax lenders. Both of these positions have developed my understanding of the Real Estate Industry, the necessary processes, and the contract requirements.
I have continued with my Continuing Education in order to stay abreast of the ever-changing laws, guidelines, and regulations of the industry.
My goal, as a Real Estate Professional, is to make the Client’s dreams come true. I feel that it is my responsibility to develop a relationship, understand their needs and do my very best to deliver the best customer service possible.
The Christesson Team
The Christesson team has been in the Horseshoe Bay area since the early 90’s; first as vacation home owners and then in 2005 as permanent residents. They have intimate knowledge of the “come-for-fun” and the “stay-for-a-lifetime” lifestyles. Ron is a graduate of Western State Colorado University. As a career consumer marketing professional in the beer industry he worked twelve years with Coors in operations, sales, new products, sports marketing and brand management. He moved his family to San Antonio in 1988 working with a new company importing the Mexican beer Corona Extra. Under his direction Corona became the #1 import in the country and numerous other brands became leaders in their respected categories, most notably the now Texas favorite “Shiner Bock”. Along the way he received numerous accolades including “Marketer of the Year “by Advertising Age magazine. Ron has also owned and managed a ranch specializing in pure bred cattle and developed and two restaurant franchises prior to retreating to Horseshoe Bay. Always passionate about life he has been a ski instructor in both the US and Europe, a free style skiing competitor, a hang gliding pioneer, an Ironman finisher (yes, that Ironman), and an instrument rated pilot. He is now a frustrated 18 handicap golfer and enjoys working with the area golf associations. Everything he does is done with passion and focus. His passion these days is sharing and showing the amazing hill country, lake, golf and properties to clients looking for a week-end retreat or the perfect new home and helping those who want to sell property, After all you can’t play golf seven days a week (although many do).
Wendy attended the University of Texas, San Antonio. A Colorado native, who felt at home when she moved to Texas. She has been in Public Relations/Corporate Communications with companies such as Coors and the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. She has a gift for making people feel comfortable in all situations. Time off to raise her boys lead to many volunteer opportunities and she was on the speaker’s circuit for Stonecroft Ministries. Helping people find their special place and guiding people through the sale or purchase of their property is a natural extension for someone like Wendy, who wants everyone she deals to feel like they are her only concern.
Patti Cohen earned her college degree and post graduate work in the field of education. After 4 years of teaching, she went to work in new home sales and construction. Since 1982 she has worked in many areas of the Real Estate industry, including mortgage lending, land acquisition, community development, market analysis in numerous states including Texas, floor plan and architectural design, model home marketing, sales training and marketing.
Caring about people and attention to detail are important aspects of the kind of real estate professional Patti represents. Her passion is assisting people in making sound decisions while purchasing or selling properties.
Lisa moved to Horseshoe Bay five years ago from Memphis, Tennessee. She has over twenty years experience in customer service related professions including banking, furniture sales and as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines.
Lisa’s desire is for her clients to have the best real estate experience possible. She goes out of her way to make sure every detail is taken care of with honesty and professionalism. Lisa considers it a great honor that many of her new clients are referrals from existing clients.
After vacationing in the area for several years, Trent moved with his family permanently to Horseshoe Bay in 1998. Growing up as a teenager in Horseshoe Bay, Trent has a vast knowledge of the area and all it has to offer. After pursuing opportunities in other parts of Texas for a few years, his love for the Texas hill country drew him back to Horseshoe Bay.
Trent is a certified audio engineer and much of his previous experience lies in multimedia technology. He has managed sound for a broad range of events, from local bands playing S.X.S.W, to speaking events for Texas Gov. Rick Perry. Trent’s extensive background in all things technology allows him to use the latest advances in the digital world to market his listings online, where they reach the maximum amount of exposure. When Trent is not on the computer or out showing properties, you can find him wake surfing on Lake LBJ or playing one of Horseshoe Bay’s four golf courses.
Trent looks forward to building a personalized relationship with each of his clients, providing them with individualized attention and guiding them through the home-buying or selling process from beginning to end. He places the utmost importance on listening to each client’s desires, needs, questions, and concerns.
Trey is a native of the area and has resided in Horseshoe Bay for over 20 years. After several years as the head golf professional at Slick Rock and later Ram Rock and Applerock golf courses, he joined the Horseshoe Bay Resort Realty team in 2001.
With a degree in Real Estate Finance from Texas Tech University and his experience in and knowledge of the area, Trey is an excellent asset to the Resort Realty team. He attributes his success in real estate to hard work, ethics, honesty, knowledge and a desire to serve his clients well. Respect for, and individual attention to, all of his clients has created long-term relationships that he truly values.
Bridget is a native Texan and has resided in the Highland Lakes for over 19 years. Prior to becoming a Realtor, she was the Human Resource Director at Tektronix Inc., Director of Customer Service at Dell Computers and operated her own Healthcare Insurance Agency.

Kay grew up in Del Rio, Texas, daughter of a five-generation ranching family that is still in ranching today. She moved to Houston after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin and obtained her Broker’s license in 1979.
